SFTP server

Getting started

To back up your Notion workspace to an SFTP server, provision the server and obtain its credentials. You will need the following:

• Hostname - sometimes referred to as a "server" or "host"
• Username - preferably for a non-root user
• Password - make sure your use password-based authenitcation

SFTP uses port 22 by default, but you can change the port number in the settings.

Backups are saved to the home folder by default; you can change this in the workspace settings.

Static IP addresses

If you're using a firewall, you might need to whitelist our server's IP addresses:

• 168.119.9.104
• 2a01:4f8:242:3fdc::
